Welcome to Valley View and the 2023-2024 school year!  We are a National Blue Ribbon,  California Gold Ribbon, California Distinguished, and a California Pivotal Practice School. I am delighted to welcome our new and returning families to the new school year!

Valley View is a prestigious TK-6 elementary school known for its academic excellence, strong parent support, and dedicated staff.  We support our students through the following mission statement: Valley View Elementary provides a safe environment and challenging instructional programs, promoting excellence as every student develops the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to be independent thinkers, demonstrate responsibility towards one another and become well-educated, productive citizens.  We follow a rigorous academic program while at the same time making sure we advocate for others and promote kindness.

At Valley View, we are all committed to providing strong academic instruction comprised of the California Content standards in all subject areas.  We also work together as staff and students to support our SOAR expectations of Show self-control, Offer Kindness, Act Responsibly, and Respect Others. We create a rigorous, safe, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment through our academic and SOAR focus.

The Valley View teachers, staff, and I are looking forward to an amazing year ahead working with all of you and your children.  We will do everything in our power to make this a great year for everyone and we thank you for your support.
